ISSELHOOK’s FRANKY by Hirtentanz-Heldenberg (Breeder: Frank Weißkirchen, Owner: Dr. Stefanie Lahmer) and ISSELHOOK’s ASARO TSF by Hirtentanz-Heraldik xx (Breeder: Familie Philipp, Owner: Gestüt Isselhook, Inge and Frank Weißkirchen) placed yesterday in the CCI3*-S! For Dr. Stefanie Lahmer and her Franky, there was a particular reason to be proud in Westerstede: 15th place and simultaneously their first 3* placing—and that in only their second start in a three-star competition. Sophie Leube also rode Asaro into the placings (20th place) after a cross-country round focused on safety and in preparation for Maarsbergen/NL and Hamm. Maja Kozian-Fleck took 13th place in the competition with her home-bred SAVIOLO by Berlusconi-Grafenstolz (Owner: Maja Kozian-Fleck and Neel-Heinrich Schoof). 17th place also went to a Trakehner starter: Christoph Fingerhut and his COME CLOSER by Come Close-Abendtanz (Breeder: Burkhard Wahler, Owner: Heike Grebe) fought his way from 46th place after dressage up almost 30 places into the placings.

Of a total of 60 starter pairs, only 37 pairs reached the finish of the technically demanding course. None of these pairs completed the course within the specified time; only 29 teams remained without jumping faults. Nine riders withdrew their horses before the cross-country due to adverse ground conditions.
