German National Young Horse Championships September 3-7, 2025 in Warendorf

Starting next week, Warendorf will once again host top-class sport – with Trakehner participation!

We cordially invite you to the Trakehner stand for a coffee, a good conversation, and an exchange with Trakehner breeders and owners. You will find us in our usual location directly at the riding horse arena (R11).

We would especially like to invite all Trakehner friends, and those who wish to become ones, to the members’ meeting at the Trakehner Association stand on Thursday, September 4, following the qualification round for eventing horses.

Trakehner Förderverein promotes top young Trakehner talents for the German National Young Horse Championships and the World Championships for Young Sport Horses 2025

As in previous years, the Trakehner Förderverein will once again specifically support young Trakehner horses in eventing, dressage, and show jumping this year, with the goal of a German National Young Horse Championships presentation and, if applicable, a start at the World Championships for Young Eventing Horses, Young Dressage Horses, or Young Driving Horses.
The support aims to strengthen the Trakehner presence at the annual German National Young Horse Championships for five- and six-year-old sport horses and at the World Championships for Young Sport Horses in the individual disciplines.
Top young Trakehner talents who have qualified and are competing for the German National Young Horse Championships and/or the respective World Championships for Young Horses will be supported.

These five- to seven-year-old Trakehner young talents will receive targeted support upon qualification for the German National Young Horse Championships and upon starting at the German National Young Horse Championships or the World Championships for Young Sport Horses in the individual disciplines (eventing, dressage, show jumping, and driving), with a one-time grant of €300 for qualifying for the respective German National Young Horse Championships and an additional one-time grant of €200 for starting at this year’s German National Young Horse Championships. Starting at the respective World Championships for Young Trakehner Sport Horses will be supported by the Trakehner Förderverein with €500 this year.

We kindly ask owners and riders to submit the names of the qualifiers via email to info@trakehnerfoerderverein.de or mmehrtens@t-online.de with the results of the qualification tests and a royalty-free sports photo so that the funding can be disbursed and communicated on the Trakehner Förderverein website.
