Trakehner Promotion Association

The Trakehner horse is more than just a breeding line within Germany’s breeding region. It is a cultural treasure, the preservation of which is particularly close to the heart of the Trakehner Förderverein.

One of the aims of the non-profit association, financed through donations and membership fees, is to further strengthen the role of Trakehners in sport. For this reason, Trakehner Sportpferde Förderung (TSF) has set itself the ambitious goal of placing promising young horses in top-class riding stables at the right time. The presence of Trakehners in top-level sport and the promotion of breeding—this is what the Trakehner Förderverein has been built on since 1962!

• TSF (Trakehner Sport Förderung) performance seal, an international seal of quality
• Support for the Trakehner National Tournament
• Awards for Trakehner breeding elites and their breeders at Trakehner mare shows
• Public relations for the Trakehner horse, youth promotion
• Securing Trakehner cultural assets and artworks

The promotion association has financed the promotion measures for more than 50 years entirely from donations and membership fees.
