GWP Elections: Astrid von Velsen-Zerweck New First Chairwoman

Dr. Ludwig Christmann, the long-standing First Chairman, had announced some time before the mid-June meeting that he would no longer be available for re-election, allowing the course to be set anew in good time. In Dr. Astrid von Velsen-Zerweck, a suitable personality was found for his succession, excellently networked in both academia and practice. And so – after some persuasion, due to her already extensive workload, and the redistribution of tasks – the State Stud Director of the Baden-Württemberg State Stud Marbach could be appointed as his successor. She does not need to be inducted: she was already one of the founding members of the society, which has existed for 31 years, and was supported by it during her doctorate.
