Breeders’ premium: changes to the payout procedure

Without horse breeders, there is no equestrian sport! A sign of appreciation is the breeders’ premium for particularly successful breeders. New from this year is the payout procedure: the premium will no longer be paid by cheque, but transferred directly to breeders’ bank accounts.

Breeders of particularly successful, premium-eligible horses and ponies in 2025 will receive mail from Pferdesport Deutschland in the coming days. In the letter, they will be asked to open the individual link provided and, after entering an access code, to enter their bank details. The premium due to the breeder will then be transferred directly to the specified account. Due to the technical changeover, there will be a slight delay in the distribution process this year. German Equestrian Sports
