Naming of Foals

Neumünster (TV): The studbook administration wishes to draw your attention to the fact that foals in German riding horse breeding typically do not receive an official name. Should a name entry in the horse passport be desired at foal age, for example, by entering a name in the online foaling notification, the breeder will incur costs of EUR 45.00 according to the current fee schedule (see point 6.1.1.). A later entry of the name in the horse passport during mare registration, stallion licensing, or competition horse registration is, however, free of charge.
