How can bidding take place?
This year’s auctions will take place as usual in the form of a hybrid auction. In addition to bidding on site, it will be possible to bid online as well as by telephone.
Information on online bidding
Bidding by telephone
You might want to bid on the telephone for two reasons: Either because you cannot attend the auction at the Holstenhalle in person or because you do not want to bid publicly even though you are attending. The Trakehner GmbH provides prospective purchasers prevented from attending the auction in person with the opportunity to bid on a chosen lot on the telephone. Moreover, we also provide on-site purchasers unwilling to communicate their bids publicly with the option to bid on their selected lot on the telephone. In order to ensure the auction is going smoothly, please complete and return the Bidding by Proxy Form (download https://www. trakehner-verband.de/veranstaltungen/hengstmarkt/internationaler-trakehner-hengstmarkt-2022) or email (info@trakehner-verband.de) until one hour before the auction in question. Moreover, the Bidding by Proxy Form is also available at the “Servicebüro“ and you may complete and return it in person there. You will be called by or call our team as soon as the lot in question enters the auction ring. Your bids will be communicated to the auctioneer directly, reliably, and confidentially.
